PLC Operator (Ferro)

Job Description

A reputed Ferro Alloys manufacturing company requires PLC Operators for process and utility sections of its Ferro Alloys plant.

Key Responsibilities
Monitor PLC‑controlled field equipment (conveyors, crushers, feeders, furnaces, pumps, fans, etc.) through HMI/SCADA.
Carry out routine field checks, acknowledge and analyze alarms, and support basic fault finding in instruments and panels.
Coordinate with maintenance and production teams during breakdowns, shutdowns and interlocks.
Follow all safety, housekeeping and lockout/tagout procedures in PLC‑controlled areas.

Requirements
ITI/Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation.
Hands‑on experience in PLC operation in steel/ferro alloys/mineral processing plant preferred.
Basic knowledge of PLC logic, interlocks and field instruments, with readiness to work in shifts.
